Should RI move to a full-time legislature?
- 131 vote - No
- 43 vote - Yes
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts has a full-time legislature.
In Rhode Island, the issues are equally complex, the size of the budget and the number of issues are ever changing. Would Rhode Island be better served with a full time legislature? What is your view?

These politicians refuse to do what is necessary to balance the budget and cut spending working part-time. Can you imagine the spending that would take place if they had more time to think up ways to spend more money we don't have? Shame on the people of this beautiful state who keep electing the most corrupt, useless, greedy, stupid, and inept men and women to do the job that most people could do around their kitchen tables-no matter how much money is in their budget. We live within our means isn't it time that our elected politicians do the same? I bet they do it in their own homes and with their own money. Lets' correct this problem with our votes in the next election,I know that is a new idea because it means that people might have to be informed, maybe decide if it is the same old boy network (Gordon Fox)or maybe someone really interested in changing the direction this state is going. WAKE UP PEOPLE, AREN'T YOU TIRED OF GETTING SCREWED?
