A video showing an individual on private property on the East Side last Tuesday night checking out vehicles has been made public.
Resident Cheryl Simmons, who runs a crime watch listserv, sent the message out on Sunday evening.

"I’ve noticed there’s been a recent increase in car break-ins; here’s one of the culprits checking out our cars last Tuesday night. Camera obviously didn’t bother him."
