NEW: High Wind Warning For Rhode Island

A high wind warning has been issued by the National Weather Service for several areas in Rhode Island, and is in effect until at least 11am.
Rhode Islanders should look for winds from the east of 30-40 miles per hour with gusts up to 60 mph.
The winds are expected to diminish by the end of the morning.

Numerous power outages and minor property damage is possible." Driving high-profile vehicles will be difficult, said the NWS, especially on elevated roadways.
Take action now to secure any loose outdoor objects, according to the warning.
