Congressman David Cicilline has released a new commercial highlighting the differences between Cicilline and his opponent Brendan Doherty and the National Republican Party.
“In this week’s debate, Brendan Doherty demonstrated that he will say or do just about anything to win this election, as long as he doesn’t have to talk about how he would vote in Washington,” said Cicilline campaign manager Eric Hyers. “It really matters who we send to Congress to stand up for Rhode Island, and we are going to continue discussing the big differences between David Cicilline and Brendan Doherty.”

CORRECTION: David Cicilline is willing to do or say anything to get elected including putting out this ad that contains nothing but FICTION. It is the same tactic he used in 2010, because he has no record to run on.

Cicilline is so desperate for Doherty to be someone or something he is not. The entire debate strategy of Cicilline was to frame Doherty as a lockstep Republican, yet Doherty stated months ago on Newsmakers that he couldn't even guarantee Bohener that he would vote for him for Leader. Yet, Cicilline continues to LIE about Doherty's positions, allies and stands.
Talk about desperate, it appears Ciciline knows he is "one and done."

By the way, Ciciline LIES when he says sending Doherty to Congress guarantees Republican majority. Simple fact is, it is a done deal with or without Doherty and Cicilline is too DISHONEST to acknowledge it. The Dems are not taking 15 or so seats back - no way.
And talk about saying or doing anything - calling Doherty's assertion that Cicilline created a sanctuary city in Providence "Ridiculous" is the BIGGEST LIE of them all.
