In 2011, Rhode Island Hospital reported over $1 billion in revenue, and Brown University was close behind with over $920 million -- and for the year, the top 25 revenue-generating non-profit institutions in Rhode Island each all topped $100 million in revenue, totaling in the billions for the state.
Now, GoLocalProv's Spheres of Influence series utilizes interactive digital mapping to show the state's top revenue-generating nonprofits by size, indicating just how big a presence some of the organizations have in Rhode Island.
