This whole project is going to be a waste of money unless the runways are extended. I was looking at the 20 year recommended plan for the airport which is available through the airport website and per the FAA if there is no extention of the runways the recomendation for the 20 year plan is to shrink and or phase out TFG in leu of another airport in the region expanding. With the resistance of expansion at TFG I think this whole intermodal thing is a waste. I heard that the FAA is looking at expanding the airport in Worcester to be the secondary airport in this region to logan.
