Brown Grad Williams Elevated to Bishop Designate

Dr. Jeffrey Williams of the Kings Cathedral in Providence has been elevated to Bishop. Williams received his Holy Orders on Sunday, August 2 by way of a public announcement of the reading of the Apostolic Bull.
The Apostolic Bull service was led by Bishop Donald Hillard II. The service included a sermon from Bishop Hillard, Holy Communion and praise and worship led by Seth Nix, Leah Hillard, Cathedral International Perth Amboy as well as the King's Cathedral Praise & Worship team.
As Bishop, Williams will oversee nearly 50 churches representing eight countries internationally .

Bishop Designate Williams' credentials include degrees from Brown University, Harvard Kennedy School and Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary, as well as over thirty years of experience as a motivational speaker.
Williams is the son of Lillie Williams, husband of Lady Lelani Williams and a father to his two daughters Joy and Grace Williams.
The King's Cathedral
The King's Cathedral first opened in 1999 and is formally known as the Cathedral of Life Christian Assembly. Since 2006, the Cathedral's location has been at 1860 Westminister Street and it's mission remains to "empower people to change the world."
