BREAKING NEWS: Third North Providence Councilor Steps Down

The third North Providence town councilor charged with taking a $25,000 bribe has resigned, according to WPRO 630, a GoLocalProv media partner.
Raymond Douglas III resigned in a letter today to Mayor Charles Lombardi, saying his continued membership on the council would interfere with town business.
The two other councilors accused in the case, John Zambarano and Joseph Burchfield, have already resigned.
