State Rep. Ken Mendonca (R)

Freshman Republican State Representative Ken Mendonca appeared on GoLocal LIVE following the recent Portsmouth Town Council's "Turn Rhode Island Red" event over the weekend, in which both Minority Leader Patricia Morgan - and Cranston Mayor Allan Fung -- affirmed that they are running for Governor.

Mendonca spoke to the GOP's candidates for Rhode Island statewide offices in 2018, the car tax, the Paw Sox, and his thoughts on national GOP politics - and how he views President Donald Trump's performance to date.
