Upcoming Rhode Island Writers' Roundtable on Sept. 17: GrubStreet's Gilsdorf on LIVE

Ethan Gilsdorf with GrubStreet joined GoLocal News Editor Kate Nagle to talk about the upcoming ”Writing and the Literary Life in Rhode Island" roundtable and meet-and-greet taking place on Monday, September 17. 

The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place at School One in Providence from 6:00pm-9:00 p.m.

Moderated by Gilsdorf, the event will feature representatives from literary and writing organizations across the state including Frequency Writers, What Cheer Writers Club, Reading with Robin/Point Street Reading Series, Rhode Island Center for the Book, Association of Rhode Island Authors, Ocean State Review, and others. 

Panelists answer questions about being a writer, taking a class, publishing, and the writer's and literary life in a small state with a thriving literary scene. The evening will end with a wine and cheese reception where attendees can network.
