Spring should be sprung out there... and you need to spring out and have some fun. We've got the five best ways to do it.

14th Annual Rubber Duck Race

Saturday The Pawcatuck River is becoming a giant bathtub full of rubber duckies this weekend as part of the 14th annual Pawcatuck River Duck Race. Sponsor one of several thousand rubber ducks as it traverses the Pawcatuck. Proceeds from the largest charitable event in the region, expected to total over $60,000 benefit over 45 local schools and charities. Participate in games, rides, food booths and other activities as well as racing your ducks! 1 Chamber Way, Westerly. Downtown Festivities begin at 11:30am, Corporate Duck Race at 1:00pm, Main Duck Race at 1:30pm. Click here for more information.

March for Babies

Saturday  Gather together and head outside into the springtime sun for March of Babies, a 3.2 mile walk to support babies everywhere. Proceeds from the event benefit March of Dimes, a national health agency working to increase the health of babies. Registration, 9 a.m. Walk, 10 a.m. Colt State Park, Bristol. Give me a "B": are you ready to Bring It? These cheerleaders are, on stage at PPAC.

Friday-Sunday  You know it from the big screen, but it has made the big stage! See Bring It On, the cheerleading comedy about winning, and losing, adapted into a hit Broadway musical, for its last nights in Rhode Island this weekend. The acrobatic moves of cheerleading meet Broadway’s musical scores and talented actors for a night full of fun and entertainment that will have you cheering.
