Go and have fun getting lost at Escobar's Annual Corn Maze at 255 Middle Road in Portsmouth. 

The last person is allowed to enter the maze up to one hour before dusk.

Get over to Firehouse Theater at 4 Equality Park Place in Newport to watch the award winning improv comedy of The Bit Players. 

The show begins at 8 p.m. and is BYOB.

Murder at the Museum: "A Dark & Stormy Night"

An interactive murder mystery set in the present, guests will attend Newport's first annual Steampunk "Sleuth-i-Con." Meet your favorite heroes and villains from steampunk culture, vote for "Best & Worst Costumes," and mix and mingle with fellow enthusiasts.

Dress-up becomes reality and results in a guest's death... You explore the galleries, question suspects, and decipher clues in order to piece together the murder. 

The event goes from 7 -8:30 p.m. at the Newport Art Museum located on 76 Bellevue Avenue.

Reservations are strongly recommended.

Stamp Act Protest 250th Anniversary Reenactment

This is a free afternooon reenactment in front of the Colony house located at Washington Square in Newport.

Events include craft demonstrations, an upper class ladies tea and children's games; reenactments include an effigy demonstration.

This event goes from 1-5 p.m.

Newport will look to get redemption after a loss to New York last season.

Salute to Summer Concert & Fireworks Show

Get over to Dewey Field at the Newport Naval Station for a concert and fireworks. Changes in Lattitudes and Navy Band Northeast will provide the music starting at 7 p.m. with fireworks taking place at Dusk.

Head to King Park Gazebo and listen to the music of the Bob Kendall Band and ZanRicky.

The concert starts at 3 p.m. and goes until 6 p.m.

The second annual Festival fete's Newport Art Festival will start on Saturday, August 29 and conclude on Sunday, August 30. The festival will take place at the Bowen's Wharf in Newport and will go from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Enjoy a day of shopping, sight seeing and walking around the festival.
