All classes will run from 6:30-8pm and while the program is offered at no charge, advanced registration is necessary so there are sufficient supplies and accommodations for the class.  Individuals are encouraged to attend all six classes but are also free to just choose those that interest them.

Joy Feldman

Feldman is the author of two books. Joyful Cooking in the Pursuit of Good Health is a cookbook based on the science of nutritional balancing and contains many recipes and reference information.  Her new book for young children, Is Your Hair Made of Donuts?, comes out in March, in time for National Nutrition Month.  Feldman reads to children at schools, libraries and after school programs to encourage children to make healthier choices in a world tempting them with junk food.  Feldman also maintains an active nutrition counseling practice based in North Kingstown at the Wickford Chiropractic & Wellness Center. She and her husband, Michael, who is an orthopedic surgeon, have two children, and live in East Greenwich.

"I know what I went through with my own health crisis with an auto immune disease that left me nearly disabled, so I am excited to give back and help others," Feldman says. "We will inspire motivate, and educate - cutting through the confusion, together, about health, healing and a state of wellness."  To learn more about Joy Feldman go here or follow her on Facebook at JHF Nutritional Consulting or @Sunnichild on Twitter.
