Message: From GoLocalProv by Dan McGowan, GoLocalProv News Contributor: Veterans, Social Security beneficiaries, federal contractors and nonessential federal employees are among the groups that could be affected by a federal government shutdown if Congress fails to pass yet another stopgap spending bill by Friday. The House is expected to vote early this week on a temporary measure that would keep the government running through April 8.
