URI Women Will Play Alabama in the NCAA Tournament

 

The dream season of the University of Rhode Island women’s basketball team continues.

The Rams will play the #6-seeded Alabama in Louisville in the first round of the NCAA basketball tournament. Rhode Island is an 11-seed.

That game will be played on Saturday.

 

The team has piled up successes this season:

 

• A record number of wins: 28-4

 

• Winner of the Atlantic-10 Tournament

 

• 17 game winning streak
