Special Olympics of RI Set for State Summer Games This Weekend

The Special Olympics of Rhode Island are set to host their State Summer Games on Saturday at the University of Rhode Island.
The games will bring in more than 1,500 athletes from all over the state to compete in events such as aquatics, athletics, bowling, cycling, motor actives training programs and more.
In addition to the competition events, the Olympic Village and the Healthy Athletes Wellness Village.

Meanwhile, the Healthy Athletes Wellness Village is located in Olympic village and offers free vision, dental, hearing and fitness screenings as well as massage therapy for the athletes.
