LaSalle Academy graduate McKenzie Meehan has become the all-time leading scorer for the Boston College Eagles women's soccer program, scoring her 40th career goal in BC's 2-1 win over Pittsburgh on Thursday night. The goal was also Meehan's 11th of the season.
"We scored two great goals tonight which always energizes your team. And of course it's a special night for McKenzie Meehan becoming the all-time leading goal scorer at BC," said Boston College head coach Alison Foley after the game.
Meehan is a redshirt junior at BC, missing all of the 2014 season with an Achilles injury.
