RI Top 10: High School Football Performances- Nov. 15, 16

What a weekend for high school football. Big time matchups on all levels made this past weekend a must see, especially in Division 2 as the playoffs got underway and Division 2-B made a HUGE statement in winning all 4 quarterfinal games. Now it's time for all the teams to get set for Thanksgiving games and playoff football. Here's the Top 10 Performances from last week.

Amado Amazes
Jon Amado ran for 2 scores and caught a 3rd touchdown as Central knocked off Chariho 26-14 in non-league action. The Knights improve to 4-6 while Chariho drops to 1-9 overall.
Leys Leads Rogers
Rogers won their Division 2 Quarterfinal game over Johnston behind 2 rushing touchdowns from senior Liam Leys. Rogers knocked off Johnston 28-14.
Fantastic Fay
Nathan Fay ran for a pair of touchdowns and scored on an interception return as Lincoln beat Tiverton 44-20. The Lions improve to 2-7 in Division 3, while Tiverton falls to 0-9 in league play.
Jack of All Trades
Shea freshman Yanique Duarte ran for a touchdown, caught a TD pass, and scored on a long punt return as the Raiders won a 28-18 decision over Westerly in a non-league matchup. Shea moves to 5-5 overall as Westerly falls to 3-7 on the season.
Coogan Crushes Vets
Corey Coogan scampered for 4 touchdown runs as North Kingstown blew out Warwick Vets 40-6 in a non-league game. Coogan eclipsed the 1,000 yard rushing mark for the season in the win, which moves North Kingstown to 9-2 overall. Warwick Vets falls to 6-5.
Ingram is Clutch
Bevin Ingram ran for 254 yards and 3 TDs as North Providence locked up the #1 seed in Division 4 by way of a 27-6 win over Exeter/West Greenwich. EWG falls to 6-1 and will most likely be the #2 seed.
Holy Moses
Moses Brown Quarterback threw 3 touchdown passes and ran for a score in leading the Quakers to a 40-0 victory over Ponagansett in Division 3. Moses Brown moves to 8-1, while Ponagansett falls to 2-6.
Calabro Conquers Coventry
Cumberland QB Tyler Calabro threw a pair of touchdown passes, ran for a score, and kicked 6 extra points as the Clippers routed Coventry 42-7 in the Division 2 Quarterfinals.
Magic Miner
East Greenwich QB Andrew Miner was captain clutch as he led his team to a 32-28 win over Burrillville behind a strong 4th quarter. The win moves East Greenwich to 4-4 in Division 3, while the Broncos are now 3-5 in divisional play.
5 TDs for Greenhalgh
West Warwick signal caller Koty Greenhalgh threw for 5 touchdowns as the Wizards trounced Mt. Hope 42-0 in the Division 2 Quarterfinals on Saturday. With West Warwick, Cumberland, Rogers, and St. Raphael winning this weekend it was a clean sweep by Division 2-B over the 4 playoff teams from Division 2-A.
