PC Statement on Ed Cooley

Providence College Friars men's basketball head coach Ed Cooley left Saturday afternoon's game against Xavier after feeling sick.
On Sunday, February 8, Providence College released a statement announcing Ed Cooley's return home.
The statement reads as follows:

He intends to coach the team in its next game on Wednesday versus Villanova at the Dunkin' Donuts Center at 8 p.m.
Cooley left the court two minutes into the second half of the Friars' game at Xavier on Saturday. He was taken to a hospital in Cincinnati and spent the night.
The Friars are currently 17-6 and 7-4 in the Big East as they get set to host #7 Vilanova at the Dunkin' Donuts Center on Wednesday, February 11.

The Providence College Friars men's basketball team (17-7, 7-4 Big East) fell 78-69 to the (15- 9, 6-6 Big East) Xavier Musketeers on Saturday afternoon in Ohio.
