Power Pack: RI High School Boys Soccer: November 6th

We're down to the Final Four in Rhode Island High School Soccer. The favorites- La Salle in Division 1, Lincoln in Division 2, and West Warwick in Division 3- are all here. But the party has been crashed by some underdogs. Those upsets will be reflected in this Power Pack. Will there be more cinderella stories to come, or will the favorites squash the competition? We find out starting Wednesday night.

Providence Country Day
Regular Season: 9-5-1, #2 seed in Division 2
Playoffs: Bye in Round 1, Defeated #12 seed Mt. Pleasant 6-3 in Quarterfinals.
PCD makes their first appearance un the Power Pack this season and it couldn't come at a better time. The top offense in Division 2 (44 goals) backed it up against Mt. Pleasant in the quarterfinals.

Toll Gate
Regular Season: 8-2-5, #3 seed in Division 2
Playoffs: Bye in Round 1, Defeated #6 seed Moses Brown 1-0 in Quarterfinals.
Toll Gate also debuts in the Power Pack and they're 1 more win away from playing for a state championship. The team they face is Coventry, the only team left to have beaten Toll Gate in league play this season.

Coventry
Regular Season: 9-3-3, #2 seed in Division 2
Playoffs: Bye in Round 1, Defeated #7 seed Mt. Hope 2-1 in Quarterfinals
Coventry continues to roll on and the Oakers are set to face Toll Gate in the semifinals on Wednesday. The Oakers beat Toll Gate 4-2 in the regular season finale, so the two teams have a lot of familiarity and the rematch should be a great game.

West Warwick
Regular Season: 13-1-1, #1 seed in Division 3
Playoffs: Bye in Round 1, Defeated #8 seed Ponagansett 6-1 in Quarterfinals
West Warwick continues to dominate Division 3 and is the favorite to take home the title after scoring 48 goals and allowing just 15 in the regualr season. They dominated Ponagansett and now face the #5 seed Cranston East in the semifinals. Cranston East is the only team to have beaten West Warwick this year in Division 3.
Lincoln
Regular Season: 11-2-2
Playoffs: Bye in Round 1, Defeated #9 seed East Greenwich 2-1 in Quarterfinals
Lincoln survived a scare from East Greenwich in the quarterfinals and now gets set to take on PCD in the semifinals. Lincoln beat PCD 3-1 on September 30th.

Barrington
Regular Season: 11-1-2, #2 seed in Division 1
Playoffs: Bye in Round 1, Lost to #7 seed Shea 3-4 in Quarterfinals
Barrington had a fantastic season, but Shea was able to pull off a huge upset last weekend in the quarterfinals and knock the Eagles out. The early exit is disappointing for the Eagles but it doesn't take away from the great regular season they put together.

Reguar Season: 7-7-0, #7 seed in Division 1
Playoffs: Defeated #10 seed Hope 3-1 in Round 1, Defeated #2 seed Barrington 4-3 in Quarterfinals
Shea is the underdog story of the playoffs, knocking off Barrington is a classic quarterfinal game last weekend. Next up for the Raiders is #3 seed North Kingstown on Wednesday night.

South Kingstown
Regular Season: 10-2-2, #4 seed in Division 1
Playoffs: Bye in Round 1, Defeated #5 seed Central Falls 4-1 in Quarterfinals
South Kingstown made a statement by beating Central Falls handily in the quarterfinals, and now sets its sight on top seeded La Salle. The Rebels lost to the Rams 1-0 on September 16th.

North Kingstown
Regular Season: 11-2-1, #3 seed in Division 1
Playoffs: Bye in Round 1, Defeated #6 seed Hendricken 3-0 in Quarterfinals
North Kingstown dominated Hendricken and now face the upstart cinderella team from Shea for a spot in the state title game. The Skippers beat the Raiders 2-0, but that game was almost a full 2 months ago. This Wednesday night should be a whole different game.

La Salle
Regular Season: 13-0-1
Playoffs: Bye in Round 1, Defeated #9 seed Portsmouth 6-0 in Quarterfinals
La Salle is riding high after an impressive 6-0 win over Portsmouth. The most dominant team in the stae, the Rams scored 59 goals and only allowed 11 this season. South Kingstown provides a big test in the semifinals and can't be overlooked.
