Warwick North Beats Oregon, Avoids Little League World Series Elimination

Warwick North Little League defeated Bend Oregon 8-0 on Saturday afternoon in the Little League World Series.
The win keeps RI in title contention and they will face either Kentucky or Iowa on Monday at 3 pm. That game can be seen on ESPN.

Warwick North got on the board in the bottom of the 2nd inning when Domenic Brazeau hit a single to left with the bases loaded to give Warwick a 1-0 lead. The hit made Brazeau 4 for 4 in the Little League World Series.
Warwick added a second run a wild pitch to go up 2-0 after 2 innings of play.
In the 4th, Warwick blew the game open after a Colin Lemieux's RBI single was followed by a Kenny Rix three run home run to left center, giving Warwick a 6-0 lead.
Warwick added two more runs in the bottom of the 5th to go up 8-0.
Getting Out of Trouble
Warwick got themselves into a trouble in the top of the 5th when Oregon loaded the bases with 2 outs with the heart of their lineup at the plate.
However, Warwick pitcher Kenny Rix struck out Oregon's Zach Reynolds to get out of the inning and preserve Warwick's 6-0 lead.
