NEW: 76ers and Celtics Make Blockbuster Trade - Jaylen Brown Out

The Boston Celtics have made a blockbuster trade.
“The 76ers have entered the summer of blockbuster trades, agreeing on Wednesday evening to acquire All-NBA wing Jaylen Brown from the Boston Celtics in exchange for Paul George, two first-round draft picks, and two second-round draft picks," the Philadelphia Inquirer has reported.

The Inquirer added, “From the Sixers’ perspective, it is a stunning move for Mike Gansey to pull off in his first offseason as new president of basketball operations. George’s max contract was considered difficult to trade given his age and injury history. But the Celtics were clearly motivated to move Brown, who finished sixth in last season’s voting for NBA Most Valuable Player. Boston reportedly offered Brown to the Milwaukee Bucks, before that team dealt two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo to the Miami Heat.”
The trade is a head scratcher for Celtics fans, as Brown, a perennial all-star, was the MVP of the NBA finals and was in the running for MVP last year.
