La Salle Academy Track & Field Finishes 6th at Nike Cross Nationals
The La Salle Academy Rams boys track & field team earned a top-six finish at the Nike Cross Nationals on Saturday afternoon at Glendoveer Golf Course in Portland, Oregon.
The Nike Cross Nationals consists of 22 seven-person teams (22 male teams, 22 female teams) from all over the country competing to win the Winged Goddess of Victory Statue.

The Rams finished with an average time of 16:08 and a total time of one hour and 20 minutes and 44 seconds.

Great Oak, California finished second, just seconds off the lead.
Leading the Way for La Salle
La Salle was led by Cumberland’s Jack McLoughlin who finished 35th with a time of 15 minutes and 41 seconds.
Seekonk’s Max DiMuccio finished second best for the Rams with a time of 15 minutes and 55 seconds. DiMuccio finished 60th overall.
Following up McLoughlin and DiMuccio was Chase Leach, who finished with a time of 16:04.2.
Alex Maxwell finished at 16:20.4, while Tyler Chambers and Adam Thibodeau both finished at 16:43.
Jack Casey was the last Ram to compete and finished with a time of 17:11.1.
