Saint Francis improves to 4-2 on the season and 2-0 in the NEC.

Bryant’s Slow Start Costs Them

The Bulldogs got off to a slow start in the game and it proved costly.

Already leading 7-0, Saint Francis quarterback Bear Fenimore found Jorge Solano for a four-yard touchdown pass to give Saint Francis a 14-0 lead after an extra point by kicker Eric Bofenkamp was good.

Bofenkamp would kick a 29-yard field goal to give Saint Francis a 17-0 lead, which they would take into the half.

The Bulldogs would get on the board in the third quarter when Tom Kennedy would run four yards into the end zone to cut Bryant’s deficit to 17-7 following an extra point by Gavin Rowley.

After a Saint Francis field goal, the Bulldogs struck again when quarterback Price Wilson hit Hayden Panagos for a 46-yard touchdown pass to cut Bryant’s deficit to 20-14 after an extra point by Rowley.

However, the Bulldogs would be unable to score the rest of the way.

Wilson finished the game completing 15 of 36 passes for 173 yards with a touchdown and three interceptions.

Saint Francis would get a 36-yard field goal from Bofenkamp to put them up 23-14, before a Fenimore touchdown pass to Kamron Lewis with 56 seconds left to play gave Saint Francis a 30-14 lead and sealed the win.
