The Bulldogs received the opening kickoff, but four plays later Bryant quarterback Price Wilson was picked off by New Hampshire’s Rick Ellison at the 50-yard line. Ellison returned the interception 50 yards to the Bryant end zone to give the Wildcats a 7-0 lead after the extra point by Max Pedinoff.

After kicking a field goal to go up 10-0, New Hampshire’s Evan Gray would run 31 yards to the end zone to put UNH up 17-0 with 3:31 to play in the first quarter.

The Bulldogs would battle back to get within seven when Tom Kennedy would run five yards to the end zone to cut New Hampshire’s lead to 17-10 following a Gavin Rowley extra point with 10:01 to play in the half.

However, New Hampshire would score the next 14 points.

Bryant would score just before the half on a 13-yard touchdown pass from Wilson to Aaron Aryee to cut the Bulldogs deficit to 31-17 at the half.

Bryant would not score the rest of the way as New Hampshire would cruise to the 45-17 win.
