Vince was most recently a banquet server at the Quonset O Club, where he was able to share a special bond working alongside his mom. For several years, he detailed cars at Mirror Image in Narragansett, a job for which he took great pride.

He loved sports. Whether he was shooting pool, playing baseball or basketball, riding his bike, following all the New England teams or watching WWF, he was drawn to sports from an early age. Music brought him great pleasure, especially listening to Bob Marley and Snoop Dogg. He was passionate about Italian food and half-gallon containers of maple walnut ice cream. One of his greatest joys came through his love of the family dogs, PJ and Enzo.

But Vince was known mostly for his big heart. He was kind and would do anything for anyone. He loved to laugh, either at his own wisecracks, the Three Stooges, or Looney Tunes cartoons. What was most special to him was family. The opportunity to be together and share a meal, especially at the holidays, was the most important thing in his life.

In addition to his mother and her partner, Chris DeRosa, he leaves behind his brother, James Pitassi, and his fiancé, Dani Garand; his grandmother, Audrey Ward; his half-sister, Nicole Canning; his uncle and aunt, Brad and Lisa Greene; and his cousins, Ryan and Lindsey Greene (and her husband Nick). He was predeceased by his father in 2014.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at the Fagan-Quinn Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown RI, from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life at 5:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rhode Island Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 155 Plan Way, Warwick, RI 02882, www.rispca.org.
