Stuart J. Horn, Passes Away at 81

He was the husband of Sandra Roscoe. They were married for more than 40 years.
Born in New York City, NY, he was the son of the late Emil and Bertha (Pensky) Horn. Stuart resided in Seattle for more than 10 years, previously residing in North Carolina and Florida.

He was a professor and Dean at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL., since 1975 and also a teacher of Buddhist studies at the Nitartha Institute in Seattle, Washington for many years.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his daughter Meredith Jakubiak and her husband Mark of Cumberland. His three granddaughters, Victoria, Alexandra, and Katherine all of Cumberland.
Relatives and friends are invited to Stuart's Life Celebration to be held on Friday, May 7, 2021, with Visiting Hours from 5 pm to 7 pm.
A brief memorial service will be held at 7 pm in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Cumberland, RI.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Nitartha Institute, 3902 Woodland Park Avenue North, Seattle, WA., 98103.
