Raymond Dionne Jr., of Pawtucket, Dies at 71

Raymond Dionne Jr., 71, of Pawtucket, passed away unexpectedly Friday, January 14, 2022.

He was the beloved husband of Patricia (Paine) Dionne for 45 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Raymond and Rita (Conti) Dionne.

Raymond graduated from East Providence High School and attended CCRI. Ray was an exceptional 10-pin bowler, achieving several 300 games. He also enjoyed playing golf, darts, horseshoes, softball and was an avid sports fan. Raymond was a jewelry and metals polisher for over 30 years. He owned and operated Rayton Polishing, Co., Inc., East Providence before retiring.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his son, Eric Dionne and his fiancé Noelle Boudreau. He also leaves five sisters, Sandra Trahan, Kathleen Zanfagna, Karen Dionne, Nancy Boyce, Kimberly Dionne, and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Richard Dionne.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Funeral Service Monday, January 24th at 11 AM in the Costigan-O’Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket. The funeral service will be video live-streamed and available to view here.

Burial will follow in Mount Saint Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.

Visiting hours will be held from 9-11 am prior to the Service in the funeral home.

Due to current circumstances, all guests are requested to wear a face mask.
