Obituary: Simone Evelina Gregoire Passes at 94

Simone Evelina Gregoire, 94, died Friday, March 8, 2019, in Golden Crest Nursing Home in North Providence. She was the widow of Maurice Gregoire.
Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of Oliver and Evelina (Rainville) Brunelle. She had worked at Brown and Sharpe company for five years before retiring.
She is survived by her children, Raymond Gregoire of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Normand Gregoire and his wife, Maureen of Glocester, Dennis Gregoire and his wife, Claire of Cumming, Georgia, David Gregoire and his wife, Joyce of Dartmouth, MA, Maurice Gregoire and his wife, Joyce of Hope, Robert Gregoire and his wife, Susan of Smithfield and Douglas Gregoire of Fall River, MA, her sixteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and a sister, Yvette. She was the mother of the late Richard Gregoire and sister of Tilly, Pearl, Beatrice, Romeo, Rene and Oscar.
A visitation will be held Tuesday 3-6pm in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Private burial. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Richard Gregoire Memorial Football Scholarship, C/O Cumberland High School, 2600 Mendon Road, Cumberland, RI 02864
