Obituary: Oscar L. “Pete” Doiron

Born in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Louis and Rita (Corbeil) Doiron. He lived in Cumberland for 29 years, and was formerly of Central Falls.
Before retiring, Pete was employed as a machine operator for the former Able Printing Co. of Providence for 15 years. Pete was a member of the Garfield Social Club of Central Falls. He enjoyed playing cards, shooting pool, and was an avid bowler.

Doiron of Texas, and Peter Doiron of Woonsocket; one grandson, Samuel Doiron; two sisters, Anna Deshaies of Cumberland, and Claire Bourgault of Warwick; nieces, and nephews. He was the brother of the late Jacqueline Remillard, Rachel Paquette and Claudette Bergeron.
His funeral was held Saturday, November 24, 2018, at 9:30 a.m. from the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home, 342 High Street, Central Falls, with a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Cross Church, 320 High Street, Central Falls at 11:00 a.m.
Relatives and friend were welcome to attend and could call at the Funeral Home Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
