Obituary: Alzira Wojcikiewicz

WOJCIKIEWCZ, Alzira (Rodrigues), 88, of Cumberland passed away Monday, December 3, 2018 in the Oakland Grove Health Care Center, Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late Michael Wojcikiewcz.

Born in Utica, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Maria (Conceicao) Rodrigues. She resided in Cumberland for the past 58 years.

She was employed by Texas Instruments for many years until her retirement. 

Alzira enjoyed cooking, sewing, family gatherings, but most of all loved spending time with her family and friends. She also loved spending time with her beagle "Bobo".

She leaves her two sons, Michael J. Wojcikiewicz and his wife Elaine and Scott J. Wojcikiewicz both of Cumberland; her brothers, Joseph Rodrigues of Lincoln, Edward Rodrigues of East Providence and John Rodrigues of Lincoln; her grandson, Michael J. Wojcikiewicz Jr. of Cumberland and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Alice Casullo, Virginia Proulx and Carl Rodrigues.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Alzira's Life Celebration to be held Friday, December 7, 2018 with Visiting Hours from 5 to 8 PM, and continue on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 9 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. A Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in the Our Lady of Fatima Church, Fatima Drive, Cumberland. Burial will follow in the Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Shriners of Rhode Island, 1 Rhodes Pl, Cranston, RI 02905.
