Musician, Douglas Atkinson, of Cranston, Dies at 48

Born in Warwick, Douglas was the beloved son of Diana (Kansiewicz) Atkinson and the late Kenneth Atkinson.
Douglas was a very talented landscaper, employed by We Do Landscaping for many years, but found his greatest joy in music. A very talented musician, Douglas was a fixture on the Rhode Island music scene. He enjoyed composing his own songs and playing his guitars. He was a past member of the bands Problem Child and My Better Half.

A service will be held for Douglas on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 11 am in the Cranston Bible Chapel, 499 Hope Rd., Cranston.
Burial will be private.
