Modestina Mattiace, of Warwick, Passes at 92

She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Mattiace. Born in Cainello, Caserta, Italy, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Antonia (Barlettano) Piccirillo.
Modestina worked in jewelry manufacturing most of her life, most recently at Bulova before her retirement. She lived in Warwick with her great-granddaughters Maranda and Arianna, and her dog Roxie. She loved to garden, pray and cook Sunday dinner for her family. She also enjoyed painting, coloring, and watching Wheel of Fortune.

She was the dear sister of Maria Spaziano and the late, Alberto Piccirillo, Michelle Piccirillo, Luigi Piccirillo, Fiorinda “Flora” Pizzuti, Rosina “Rose” Zannini and Yolanda Gennaro.
Funeral from the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Saturday at 8:45 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Kevin’s Church, Warwick.
Entombment will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4:00 – 8:00 pm.
