Melonie Margaret (Miller) Luiz of Bristol at 73

Melonie Margaret (Miller) Luiz, 73, of Poppasquash Road passed away on April 4, 2022, at The Dawn Hill Home for Rehab & Healthcare.  She was the wife of Jeffrey Luiz.  

Born in Bethesda, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late George and Grace (Figueras) Miller.  In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter Heather Eve Luiz.  She was the sister of Wesley Miller, Dolores Dallaire and Carol Miller.

Mrs. Luiz was a member the first graduating class from Bristol High School in 1967 and was a hairstylist for 42 years before retiring.  She was a member and former President of the Bayberry Garden Club.  She was an avid gardener and made the best brownies and strawberry cupcakes around.

Calling hours will be held Monday, April 11th, 9:30 - 10:30 AM at the George C. Lima Funeral Home, 367 High Street, Bristol followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in St. Mary's Church, 330 Wood Street, Bristol.  Burial will follow in Juniper Hill Cemetery.
