Kyle Linn Lamphere, Passes Away at 30

Kyle graduated from Stonington High School in 2010. He was employed by the Mohegan Tribe in Protective Services since 2015. In his spare time, he enjoyed hiking, the great outdoors, photography, and was an animal lover. He had an amazing voice and loved to sing (Rihanna was a favorite artist).
Kyle was a proud member of the Narragansett Indian Tribe. He served on two committees; NIT Screening Committee and NIT Election Committee. At a young age, he began researching genealogy which grew to be his passion. Kyle was of Narragansett, Pequot, and Schaghticoke descent. Family, community, history, and genealogy were at the core of who he was and how he lived his life. He was a connector who reached out to so many of his generation and beyond, forging and building relationships that will never be the same with his absence. His light will continue to shine bright forever in our hearts. He was a deeply spiritual person who will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He had a smile that would light up a room.
Besides his parents, Kyle is survived by his brothers and sisters: Moocheke Lamphere, Raymond Lamphere, Neechipog Lamphere, William Lamphere Jr., Kody Lamphere, Aiyanna Lamphere, Kaleb Lamphere, and Illeanna Lamphere; as well as 13 nieces and nephews and 1 great-nephew. Kyle is also survived by his maternal grandmother Alice Beverly Coggswell Simonds, his chosen brothers; Jonathan Cluff, Robert “Bubs” Crooker, and Omar Reyes. Kyle will also be missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins, German Shepherd fur babies; Dahlia, Sachem, and Mercy, and his many long-lasting friends that became his family.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 26, 2021, at 11 am at The Narragansett Indian Tribe Burial Grounds in Charlestown, RI. Masks must be worn.
Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
