Karen Ann Golembeski, of Warwick, Passes at 74

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Joseph J. and Marion (Issacson) Golembeski.
Karen worked as Director of Sales and Marketing for Elite Associates for several years before her retirement, after spending most of her career in the jewelry manufacturing industry.

She was a faithful communicant and Eucharistic Minister at Saint Gregory the Great Church for many years, past president of the Women's Jewelry Association of New England, served on the board of directors for TAPA (Trinity Academy of Performing Arts), and past president of the Ocean State Toastmasters Association. An avid sports fan she enjoyed all of the New England sports teams.
She leaves her beloved sister, Mary E. Gamelin; her sister-in-law Nanhee C. Golembeski; two nieces, Melissa G. Patnode and Christine A. Gamelin; a great-niece, Lilyana N. Patnode, her partner, Tim Hryzan; many cousins, and her beloved dog, Bandit. She was the sister of the late Joseph J. Golembeski, Jr., and aunt of the late Richard A. Gamelin, Jr.
The funeral will be held Friday, at 8:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road (Rt 117) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Road, Warwick.
Burial will be in Saint Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
Visiting hours Thursday, 2:00 - 6:00 pm.
