Julia Castro Del Valle, of West Greenwich, Passes at 98
She was the wife of the late Juan Castro.
Born in Canovanas, Puerto Rico, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Del Valle and Julia (Rivera) Del Valle.
Mrs. Castro Del Valle worked as a seamstress in the garment industry for many years until her retirement.
She loved music, enjoyed gardening, and spending time with her family.
She leaves her loving children: The Rev. Virginia Alvarez of West Greenwich, RI, and John Castro and his wife Elaine of Martinez, CA. Cherished grandmother of seven grandchildren and one great-grandson. She was predeceased by eight siblings.
Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 24, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. in the First Baptist Church in Wickford, 44 Main Street.
Burial will be private.
Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to The First Baptist Church in Wickford will be appreciated.
