James Michael Plunkett Dies at 70

James Michael Plunkett, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, age 70, was called to his heavenly home on December 21, 2021. James was born in Framingham, MA, on September 18, 1951, to Walter and Margaret Plunkett, and was married to Vicki Kavanagh of Framingham, MA on November 4, 1988, in Plymouth, New Hampshire.

James was a handy man whose life work included carpentry, mechanics, electrical, plumbing, and truck driving.

He was a man of quick wit and humor and found enjoyment in watching his beloved cowboy movies and talking about politics and history.

He is survived by his five children: James Aaron of Torrington, Connecticut; Rachael Ann Grant of Barrington, RI; Sean Patrick of Ocean Pines, Maryland; Timothy Andrew of Pascoag; and Margaret Elizabeth of Pascoag, RI, as well as, three grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters Margaret Plunkett and Francis Sims. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and sister, Mary Ellen Carter.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in the spring.
