James Michael Moran, Passes Away at 79

James M. Moran, 79, passed away August 4, 2021, after a brief illness with his family by his side. 

Son of the late William and Aline (Daigneault) Moran. Beloved husband of Carmela (Grieco) Moran of 40 years. Devoted father of David Moran, Paula Sylvester (Bruce), Kristin Solomon (Michael), Jennifer Fiske (Keith); father in law of Kim Moran; brother of Linda Delay (William) and the late Gail Hartman; cherished grandfather of Kristen (Joseph Robles), Kelsey, Samantha, Arianna, Michael, Jack, Michael Jr., and the late Kevin Moran; loving great-grandfather of Nate and Adam; and adored uncle of several nieces and nephews.

Jim graduated from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and worked as a pharmacist at Brooks Drug for many years. He was an avid Red Sox, Celtics, and Patriots fan and enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 1081 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence.

Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

With respect to the family, due to the increase in COVID cases, social distancing and masks are encouraged.
