Eddie Lee Colvin, Dies
He was educated in the County School System at Dry Creek High School. He was united and baptized at an early age at Liberty Church.
Eddie Lee came to Providence, RI, in the early seventies, where he worked at Providence College and the late Gladys Hall Penny Candystore until his health failed. To this union, he met the late Tonnette Perry, his kids the late Te-Te Perry, Troy Perry, Toni-Ann-Toni-Ellen Perry, Terrell Lee Perry, Tavonn Lee Bradley Dawkins, all of Providence, RI. Chad Farley from Gary, Indiana, 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Hasking and Carrie Lee Colvin, sister Betty Banks, and Brother Leepoldson Colvin. He also leaves to cherish his memories sister Rose "Leon" Collins, Janie Clifton of Providence, RI, Johnnie Mae (Lawerance) Thomas of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, brother Dorman Colvin.
Eddie loved to play basketball and was a fancy dresser. He was very cheerful. He also leaves a host of Nieces and Nephews and many friends and family in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 8th, 2021, at the Mount Pleasant Funeral Home, 168 Academy Avenue, Providence, from 10:00, am to 11:30 am, followed by a service at 11:30 am.
Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery. Face masks are required, and social distancing will be observed.
