Dorothy C. Daylor, of Warwick, Dies at 88

Dorothy C. Daylor, 88, died Sunday, June 13, 2021, at her home in Warwick.

Born in Providence on May 28, 1933, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Joseph and Florence Peterson Daylor. Dorothy graduated from local schools and went on to work for Narragansett Electric Company, from where she retired.

Dorothy was a founding member of Saints Rose and Clement Parish. She was a communicant of St. Clement Church, Warwick.

Other than her parents, Dorothy was predeceased by her brothers William and Howard Daylor.

Dorothy is survived by her sisters-in-law Barbara A. Daylor of Warwick and Elizabeth L. Daylor of No. Kingstown. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Kathleen A. Boucher of No. Kingstown, Karen A. Rogers of Wakefield, Joanne M. Miga of No. Kingstown, and John H. Daylor of No. Kingstown, and the late Stephen J. Daylor. Dorothy also has several beloved grand and great-grand nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, June 17, 2021, at St. Clement Church, Long Street, Warwick.

Visitation will be held prior from 8:30-9:30 am at The Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick.

Interment will take place at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
