Cynthia A. Whaley Dies at 57

Cindy was the loving sister of Fred O. Whaley Jr., and his wife, Julie, of Narragansett. She was the adored aunt of Marion Whaley of South Kingstown and Mary Whaley of Narragansett, cherished step-aunt of Daniel Connor Jr., of Warwick, Megan Cotter and her husband Christopher of Exeter, and John Connor of Narragansett. Cindy also leaves behind many cherished great-nieces and nephews.
After graduating from URI, Cynthia moved to San Diego, California, where she had a successful career working at Seltzer, Wilkins, & McMahon Law firm. After more than twenty years, she moved back to Rhode Island to be closer to her family. She worked as a Legal Administrative Assistant in the Litigation Department at Hinckley, Allen & Snyder, LLP, where she will be sorely missed. She loved her job and all the people that she worked with.

She loved to travel and enjoyed telling everyone about the wonderful experiences that she had in the many countries that she visited. She was often funny and enjoyed celebrating the beauty and joy of life that only Cindy could express. Her ability to make everyone feel friendship with her was a gift that she was able to share with many. She loved all Boston teams, especially the Boston Bruins.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, December 15th, at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory - SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Rd. (Rt. 1A) Narragansett, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Christ the King Church, 180 Old North Road. Kingston, RI 02881. VISITING HOURS: Thursday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Burial will be held in St. Francis Cemetery, Wakefield.
