Carolyn L. Profughi Dies at 77

She served and participated in many organizations and social groups including: Pawtucket Jaycees, The Friends of Smithfield Cemeteries, Woodlawn Baptist Church Food Closet, International Order of the King’s Daughters and Sons, Pawtucket West Class of 64’ Reunion Committees, New England Keswick Bible Camp and Conference Center, and too many more to mention.

Carolyn enjoyed working at Gilbane Building Company in Providence, where she was employed for 27 years. She was well respected and appreciated, retiring in 2007 from her role as Employment Coordinator, Human Resources Assistant and Benefits Coordinator.
Carolyn was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord, sincerely. She was baptized at Woodlawn Baptist Church, Pawtucket, RI and served the Lord in every ministry there throughout her life.
In addition to her husband Victor, she was the mother of Hazel Profughi, Gloria Profughi, Annabelle Raymond and Cindy Profughi-Murphy. She was the sister of Robert Kenney and the aunt of Gregory Kenney (Tracy). She is also survived by her grandchildren John Martin, Anna Zuchelli, Edmund Murphy, Jr., Peter Murphy and Kay-Lee Profughi. Great-grandmother of Naesen Martin and Simon Zuchelli.
Relatives and friends are invited to funeral services in the Woodlawn Baptist Church, 337 Lonsdale Ave, Pawtucket, on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 10 am. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Johnston. Visitation will be held Monday, December 18, 2023 from 4-7pm in the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Chapel, 643 Putnam Pike, Greenville.
