Carole Linda Geldard, of Warwick, Passes at 77

Carole Linda Geldard, 77, of Warwick, passed away on Monday, June 14, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Providence on January 16, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Otto and Lucille Johnson. She was the beloved wife of 55 years to Richard B. Geldard.

Carole worked as a medical transcriptionist, a secretary for the Tuberculosis Ward, and a secretary for Social Work Services at the V.A. Hospital in Providence for 35 years.

She was a caring and unselfish wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

In addition to her husband Richard, she is survived by her son, Richard D. Geldard, her two brothers, David and Richard Johnson, and her grandchildren, Elijah and Isabelle.

She was the mother of the late Laurie (Geldard) Cobb and mother-in-law of the late Michael Cobb.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at Greenwood Community Church Presbyterian, 805 Main Ave, Warwick.

Funeral Arrangements are entrusted to The Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Ave, Warwick.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to the National Arthritis Foundation are greatly appreciated
