Women Robbed, Assaulted in Convention Center Garage in Providence

A woman reported being robbed — and assaulted — at the Convention Center garage in Providence overnight.
About Incident
Shortly after 2 AM Saturday morning, a female victim went to the Providence Public Safety Complex on Washington Street to report an assault and robbery.

She told police two females in the elevator with her refused to let her leave; when she did, she said they threw her to the ground and began to punch her.
The victim told police the suspects then grabbed her wallet before fleeing.
Police are investigating the report.
