VIDEO: Providence Police Subdue Individual—Then Officer Slams Their Head Into Pavement

A video secured by GoLocal shows an individual wrestling with two Providence Police officers.
The video shows the officers subdue the individual and then once in their control, one of the officers slams the person’s head into the pavement.
The incident occurred at the City of Providence's fireworks event on July 3 at India Point Park.

Police are not identifying the officers involved at this time.
"It's standard procedure for any use of force investigation," said Remolina,
Remolina said neither of the two officers have been suspended.
In addition, Remolina said the suspect in the video was arrested and found to be in possession of a knife.
