RIPTA to Detour 12 Routes Due to Mayoral Inauguration on Monday

The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) announced that 12 routes will be detoured on Monday, January 7 due to the Mayoral Inauguration.
The routes are 1, 6, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 30, 31, 58 and 92 West .
The detour will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Route 1 (Eddy/Hope/Benefit):
Inbound trips will travel the regular route to Eddy Street through to Memorial Boulevard, left onto Steeple Street through to Exchange Terrace, left onto Dorrance Street, and then left onto Washington Street to Bus Stop I. Outbound trips will travel the regular route.
Route 6 (Prairie/Roger Williams Park Zoo):
Inbound trips will travel the regular route.
Outbound trips will travel the regular route to Dorrance Street, left onto Dorrance Street, right onto Weybosset Street through to Broad Street, and then resume regular route.
Route 17 (Dyer/Pocasset):
Inbound trips will travel the regular route.
Outbound trips will travel the regular route to Dorrance Street, left onto Dorrance Street, right onto Weybosset Street, right onto Empire Street, left onto Washington Broad Street, and then resume regular route.
Route 18 (Union Avenue):
Please refer to the Route 17 (Dyer/Pocasset) detour.
Route 19 (Plainfield/Westminster):
Please refer to the Route 17 (Dyer/Pocasset) detour.
Route 20 (Elmwood Ave./TF Green Airport):
Please refer to the Route 6 (Prairie/Roger Williams Park Zoo) detour.
Route 21 (Reservoir/Garden City):
Inbound trips will travel the regular route.
Outbound trips will travel the regular route to Dorrance Street, left onto Dorrance Street, left onto Lower Weybosset Street through to Exchange Street,mleft onto Memorial Boulevard to the Rte. 10 on-ramp and then resume regular route.
Route 22 (Pontiac Avenue):
Please refer to the Route 6 (Prairie/Roger Williams Park Zoo) detour.
Route 30 (Arlington/Oaklawn):
Please refer to the Route 21 (Reservoir/Garden City) detour.
Route 31 (Cranston Street):
Please refer to the Route 17 (Dyer/Pocasset) detour.
Route 58 (Mineral Spring/North Providence):
Please refer to the Route 1 (Eddy/Hope/Benefit) detour.
Route 92 (RI College – West):
Westbound trips will travel the regular route to the Bus Stop D, turn left onto Dorrance Street, left onto Lower Weybosset through to Exchange Street, left onto Exchange Terrace through to Sabin Street and then resume regular route.
