Police Now Can’t Have Traffic Ticket Quotas
Wednesday, June 30, 2010
There are many reasons you could be pulled over by a police officer—but now, meeting his daily quota of traffic tickets won’t be one of them.

Lawmakers said the new rules are meant to allow officers to focus on those who violate the law—not follow “arbitrary quotas.”
