PC to Host Symposium on Political, Social & Gender Politics of Black Women & Girls

Providence College will host a symposium on the political, social and gender politics of black women and girls effect on black women and the media. 

The panel will run over the course of two days starting on Friday, September 8 at 6:15 p.m. and Sunday, September 9 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The event will take place at 64 Slavin Hall on PC's campus.

Registration is free.

The Symposium 

The event includes Panel Discussion with motivational and experts on Women's issues.

The keynote speaker for the event will be LGBT activist Charlene Carruthers and Providence College Black Studies’ Dr. Julia Jordan Zachery.

There will also be meals and refreshments.
