Thunderbirds Out of RI’s Quonset Air Show This Weekend

The US Air Force Thunderbirds have pulled out of this weekend's Rhode Island Air Show.
The Thunderbirds announced it on their Twitter account on Tuesday.

The announcement comes after a USAF Thunderbird F-16 jet crashed on Thursday, June 2. The pilot ejected from the plane safely.
The investigation into the crash is still ongoing.
Rhode Island Air Show
The Rhode Island Air Show is set to take place on June 11 & 12.
To date, the Air Show has contributed over $2,000,000 to local charities.
